Seminar “ Overview and updates of chemical regulations in Vietnam” co-organized by E&H and Global Product Compliance (GPC Group)

On June 30, 2022, E&H cooperated with Global Product Compliance (GPC Group) (a multinational consulting group on REACH compliance based in Sweden), to organize a joint seminar with topic "Overview and update on chemical regulation in Vietnam". The seminar was held online, with participation of more than 90 enterprises from many countries, related to the chemical field. The workshop aimed to update the latest changes in regulations and policies related to chemical management in Vietnam, especially in the context of the Law on Environmental Protection and related documents issued at the beginning of the year 2022, and amending and supplementing Decree 113/2017/ND-CP, Circular 32/2017/TT-BCT as well as orientations to amend the Law on Chemicals.

E&H's presentation focused on the following topics:

• New regulations on Persistant Organic Pollutant (POP) substances
• Updates on National Chemical Inventory (NCI)
• Future development of chemical compliance
